Colony Park West is a larger subdivision in Farmington Hills MI. The homes within this sub were built in the 1970's.
This subdivision has many larger colonials with different styles available.
Occasionally, you will see a ranch home.
There is a unique style that looks like a tri-level but really appears to be a colonial. I see these throughout this Farmington Hills MI subdivision, but I have not noticed these anywhere else. (Notice the basement windows.)
There is a nice park in the middle of this Farmington Hills MI subdivision. There is a walking trail that surrounds the pond, and there are some open areas that might be perfect for the family and friends barbeque.
The Colony Park West subdivision is east of Drake Road and south of 13 Mile Road. There are direct entrances into the subdivision from Drake Road and 13 Mile Road. It is also accessible from 12 Mile Road going through the Farmington Green subdivision.
This subdivision is only about a short drive to Northwestern Highway, which provides easy access to many of the local major highways (M-10, I-696, and M-39). Plus, it is near a lot of shopping on Orchard Lake Road.
