Grand River Crest (Olde Town) is an older community with a wide variety of house types. There are a lot of different housing styles, sizes, types, and ages within this subdivision. Mostly, this subdivision has a lot of starter homes, though.
One of the entry ways shows a sign that says, "Olde Town," but the city map refers to this subdivision as Grand River Crest.
The subdivision is somewhat smal. It is only two blocks wide from east to west, but it is nearly one-half (1/2) of a mile from north to south.
There are older, smaller ranches. Some are a little bigger.
There are older, smaller and newer bungalows that are a little larger, too.
There are standard, older and newer, larger colonials in the mix, too.
There are even a few tri-levels in the mix. There really is a little of nearly everything in this subdivision.
Most of the subdivision is nicely wooded without being too secluded. In fact, it is really near several major throughways.
There is a lot of housing type variety, and this Farmington Hills MI subdivision should meet a lot of different families' needs. It is close to shopping and restaurants, but it still offers a neighborhood feel.
Since it is close to Grand River Rd, it is nearby M-5 to make a quick getaway to Brighton or Lansing. It also does not take very long to get to I-275 to begin any southbound trip to Metro Airport, Ann Arbor, Toledo, or continue toward more southern territory.
It's close to 8 Mile, also. So that means that there are several easy ways to drive to the city, too.
