The Franklin Knolls is a somewhat large subdivision in Farmington Hills MI. There are some trees within the subdivision, but it is not heavily wooded overall. The homes within this sub were built in the 1960's.

Since it leads to the mixing bowl of expressway entrances, it is easy to reach the Southfield Freeway (M-39) and I-696, which is a convenient highway to begin your journey to most places within the northern suburbs of Detroit Metro and other places within Michigan.
