Canterbury West is a small Farmington Hills MI subdivision that leads into the larger Canterbury Commons sub. These homes look like they were built in the late 1960's or early 1970's. While the sub is small, there seem to be a lot of variation within the home designs.
Looking at all of these pictures of the different colonial styles, you would never guess that there are only two (2) streets within Canterbury West subdivision.
As you can see, the colonial styles really vary within this Farmington Hills MI subdivision.
There is an occasional ranch home here, but there are not many of them within this subdivision.
This area is not heavily wooded, but there are many mature trees.
The Canterbury West subdivision is east of Farmington Road and between 13 Mile Road and 14 Mile Road. There is a direct entrance on Farmington Road, but by using other subdivisions it is accessible from 13 Mile Road or 14 Mile Road.
This subdivision is only about a mile from Northwestern Highway, which provides easy access to many of the local major highways (M-10, I-696, and M-39). Plus, it is near a lot of shopping on Orchard Lake Road.
