Woodland Hills Nature Park in Farmington Hills MI

Woodland Hills Nature Park is a nature park, features a primitive-walking trail winding through the 74-acre park. The focus of this park is to allow the quiet observation of birds and animals in a variety of habitats. Meadows, hardwood forest, a pond, a river and creek are all part of the natural wonders of this park, which is located on Farmington Road just south of I-696.

The park is located across the street from Oakland County Community College-Orchard Ridge (OCC-Orchard Ridge Campus) on Farmington Road.

The walking trail's entry point is easy to find from the parking lot.

It has many pretty views overlooking a winding creek. The heavily wooded trail provides a lot of scenic views.

Part of the trail passes by a pond, first marked by the Wetland warning sign. It serves as a nice break from the forest, where you can see clearly. It is in the back of the preserve, and its seclusion offers a moment for peaceful reflection.

The walking park has 1.7 miles of trails through 74 acres of natural habitat. It is a sanctuary for animals and plants to thrive within their natural habitat.

WARNING: This trail is truly rustic, as it is a dirt trail. It is not paved, nor does it have limestone or any other form of gravel. After rain or enough snow, the dirt trail turns into mud, and it does have several spots where puddles cover the trail.
