The Woodcreek (Woodcreek Hills) is a medium size subdivision. It is part of a larger area that includes Supervisor's Plat of Wood Creek Hills. There are a lot of hills, and it ranges from being lightly wooded to heavily wooded. The homes were mostly built in the 1960's and 1970's, but there are a few that were built later. The yards are larger, and many of the lawns are landscaped nicely.
There are plenty of ranch homes within this subdivision. Many of them are the classic rambling ranches.

The Woodcreek (Woodcreek Hills) subdivision is just north of 12 Mile Road and west of Inkster Road. There is a direct entrance into the subdivision from 12 Mile Road, but it is also accessible from Inkster Road by going through Hickory Oaks and from Northwestern Highway by going through the Supervisor's Plat of Wood Creek Farms.
It is a short drive to Northwestern Highway. Since Northwestern Highway eventually becomes The Lodge (M-10), it is very convenient to get to Detroit. It leads to the mixing bowl of expressway entrances, it is easy to reach the Southfield Freeway (M-39) and I-696, which is a convenient highway to begin your journey to most places within the northern suburbs of Detroit Metro and other places within Michigan.
