Old Homestead West (Old Homestead Sub) is a large Farmington Hills MI subdivision. The homes within this subdivision were mostly built in the 1960's and 1970's, but there are some newer homes, too.The entrance sign calls this subdivision Old Homestead West, but the city subdivision map refers to this area as Old Homestead Sub (opposed to Old Homestead East, which has a legal name of Old Homestead Sub No. 1).

There are a lot of ranches here. Several of them are the sprawling ranch homes.
There are some tri-levels and quad-levels.
Here is a street view within the subdivision. There are several sections with mature trees, but this is a moderately wooded subdivision. Some portions of the sub are more wooded than others, but most of the yards have older trees.
The Old Homestead West (Old Homestead Sub) subdivision is north of 11 Mile Road and west of Drake Road. There are direct entrances into this subdivision from 11 Mile Road and Drake Road.
