Waddell-Wilcox-Rydall Company's Kemberton Park is a mid-size Farmington Hills MI subdivision. It has a lot of different types of homes, but the majority of them are older and a perfect size for a starter home or a first real estate investment.


There are many small starter ranches within this subdivision. A lot of these homes are really good for people looking to move from an apartment or a landlord.


There are few ranches that are a little larger, though.


There are a few bungalows.


There are colonials. Most of the larger ones are at the north end of the sub--by the edge where the streets end.

The Waddell-Wilcox-Rydall Company's Kemberton Park subdivision is north of 9 Mile Road and Shiawassee Road, and it is west of Middlebelt Road. There is a direct entrance into this subdivision from Middlebelt Road. It is also accessible from Shiawassee Road by going through Westlake. It is also accessible from both 10 Mile Road and Orchard Lake Road by going through multiple subdivisions.

Westlake is a medium size Farmington Hills MI subdivision. The south and southwest corner of this subdivision is exclusively brick starter ranch homes. The other portions mix colonials and ranches, and there are more colonials than ranches in these sections. The homes were mostly built in the 1960’s.


There are many ranches within this subdivision, especially in the original Westlake sub (opposed to Westlake No. 2 or Westlake No. 3). There are mostly standard and L-shaped, but there are a couple U-shaped ones, also.


There are several colonials. Not all of the colonial homes are white within this subdivision, but many of them are.


Here is a street view. There are a lot of mature trees, and this subdivision is moderately wooded.

The Westlake subdivision is between 9 Mile Road and 10 Mile Road, and it is north of Shiawassee Road. Going west to east, it is between Orchard Lake Road and Middlebelt Road. There is a direct entrance into this subdivision from Shiawassee Road. It is also accessible from 10 Mile Road by going through either Hollywood or Stone Creek. It is accessible from Middlebelt Road by going through either Waddell-Wilcox-Rydall Company's Kemberton Park or the Supervisor's Middlebelt and Ten Mile Road Plat No. 1.

Tarabusi Grand River Gardens is a small Farmington Hills MI subdivision. It is only part of three (3) streets. There are a lot of different types of homes here, but the yards are not as large as they are in the neighboring Hollywood subdivision. There truly is not any sort of "typical" house in this subdivision. Several homes are older, but there are a few that were built recently, also. Each home seems to be independently designed. Like Hollywood, it has a lot of different types of homes, but many of them are a little smaller.


There are many ranches within this subdivision. Many of them are perfect starter homes.


There are several colonials. Their styles and ages vary.


There is an occasional tri-level.


There is a bungalow or two.

Heather Hills is an medium size subdivision in Farmington Hills MI. Most of the homes within this subdivision were built in the 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's. However, there appears to a be a few lots with newer construction, also.

Heather Hills is an older concept township style subdivision with large yards, and it sits on rolling hills that brings truth to its name, giving it a true countryside feel. There are a lot of different types of houses within this subdivision.


Many of the homes within this Farmington Hills MI subdivision are ranches, and they range in size from being larger to really large.


There are some colonials in this subdivision, also.


There are a few tri-level homes.


Heather Hills offers a lot of neat views as you drive down any of its streets. The hills, large yards, and mature trees combine to offer many relaxing views.

The Heather Hills subdivision is north of 9 Mile Road and west of Drake Road. There is a direct entrance into the main part of this subdivision on Halsted Road, but there is a small isolated, heavily wooded portion with a dirt road that can be accessed only from Drake Road.
