Sudbury Woods South is a small Farmington Hills MI subdivision. This subdivision is just one street spur, barely expanding the boarder of the Woodbrook subdivision. The homes appear to have been built in the 1990's or 2000's.


There are more colonials than any other type of home in this subdivision. For being such a small subdivision, there are a lot of designs.


There are a few ranches.


There is even a modern cape cod style bungelow.

The Sudbury Woods South subdivision is south of 14 Mile Road and west of Drake Road. There is not any direct entrance into this subdivision from any of the major roads. However, it is accessible from 14 Mile Road by going through Woodbrook and Drake Road by going through multiple subdivisions.

Sudbury Woods North is a small Farmington Hills MI subdivision. This subdivision is just part of one street within the Woodbrook subdivision. The homes appear to have been built in the 1990's.


Here are some of the colonials. There are actually more designs--despite this subdivision being only part of one street, but many of the houses have too many trees in front of them to be able to take a picture and see enough of the house.


Here is a ranch house. It is a large ranch with vaulted ceilings.

Woodbrook is a medium size Farmington Hills MI subdivision. This subdivision is a little older, and many--not all--of the homes are also older. The yards are larger than in many of the newer subs, but they are not huge.

There are tri-level homes here, also.

Rolling Oaks West is a small Farmington Hills MI subdivision. The homes in this subdivision was built in the late 1980's, and most of the homes are large.


The great majority of the homes here are colonials.


There are a few large ranch homes with vaulted ceilings.

Rolling Oaks (Heritage Hills) is a large Farmington Hills MI subdivision. This subdivision was built in many phases beginning in the late 1950's; so there are a lot of different styles you will notice.

Some of the houses were built post-2000 (in the northwest corner of the sub--closest to the Drake Road and 14 Mile Road intersection).

The rest of the homes were clearly built earlier, but even this other part of the subdivision is nice, especially with the rolling hills.

The entry sign says Rolling Oaks, but the city subdivision map labels the area as Heritage Hills.

There is also Rolling Oaks (King's Pointe), which is attached to this subdivision. It has the same sign, but this section has different legal names.



There are many large colonials--both older and newer--within this subidivision.


There are several ranch homes.


There is a walking path leading to a common open park area in the middle of the subdivision.

The Rolling Oaks (Heritage Hills) subdivision is south of 14 Mile Road and between Drake Road and Farmington Road. There are direct entrances into this subdivision from 14 Mile Road, Drake Road, and Farmington Road. It is also accessible from 13 Mile Road by going through Rolling Oaks (King's Pointe).

Farmington Heights is a small Farmington Hills MI subdivision. This subdivision sits near a lot of businesses and busy streets, but it all seems to disappear when you ride through this subdivision with all of the trees and the dirt roads.


There are mostly older small ranch homes in this subdivision.


Here are a couple of typical road views within Farmington Heights. It is definitely a way for a person who likes a country setting yet still be so close to so many restaurants and other businesses.

Riding through the Farmington Heights subdivision is almost like entering an older small town. Most of the homes are small older ranches. The newer homes are separated from the road by enough trees that it becomes too tough to take good pictures of them.

The Farmington Heights subdivision is south of 14 Mile Road and east of Orchard Lake Road. It is also south and west of Northwestern Highway. The subdivision is accessible from 12 Mile Road, 13 Mile Road and Orchard Lake Road.

Since this subdivision is attached to Northwestern Highway, there easy access to many of the local major highways (M-10, I-696, and M-39). Plus, it is near a lot of shopping on Orchard Lake Road.
