Farmington Hills Sub is a medium size Farmington Hills MI subdivision. The lots are larger on rolling hills, giving it a countryside style subdivision look. Most of the homes were built in the 1950's and 1960's. It is part of a larger area that includes Glen Orchard subdivision.


There are many ranches within this subdivision. Quite a few of them are the classic looking larger ranches, but some of them are smaller, too.

The Supervisor's Plat of Wood Creek Farms is a medium size subdivision. It is part of larger area that includes Woodcreek (Woodcreek Hills). This is definitely a heavily wooded sub. The homes were mostly built in the 1960's and 1970's, but there are a few that were built later--a few earlier. There is a lot of variety of home styles. Typical of subdivisions with a country setting, the yards here are larger.


There are plenty of ranch homes within this subdivision. Many of them are the classic rambling ranches.

Here are a couple of street views within the subdivision. It is not far from conveniences, yet this subdivision provides plenty of peaceful seclusion.


There is a nice looking pond in the middle of this subdivision. It is in a peaceful part of the subdivision, but the spouting fountain gives it quiet activity.

The Supervisor's Plat of Wood Creek Farms subdivision is between 12 Mile Road and 13 Mile Road, and it is between Middlebelt Road and Inkster Road. Northwestern Highway goes directly through the subdivision. Additionally, there are direct entrances into the subdivision from 13 Mile Road, Middlebelt Road, and Inkster Road. It is also accessible from 12 Mile Road by going through Woodcreek.

Since Northwestern Highway eventually becomes The Lodge (M-10), it is very convenient to get to Detroit. Since it leads to the mixing bowl of expressway entrances, it is easy to reach the Southfield Freeway (M-39) and I-696, which is a convenient highway to begin your journey to most places within the northern suburbs of Detroit Metro and other places within Michigan.
